Busy, Busy

Took Julia to her Parent & Child swim lesson. Really she could be in Level 1, but she’s taking it with a friend who has NEVER had swimming before. So her mom and I put both girls in Parent and Child with the idea of getting them warmed up slowly before they go into Level 1 where you have to go by yourself without your mom.

We do two rounds of lessons each summer and I started her in  P & C when she was 6 mos.
Julia did great. this is her 7th time in P & C so she’s a pro at it. Last year her teacher wanted to move her on but she wasn’t 3 yet so she couldn’t go yet. We did groceries afterward and came home to clean and make lunch. After a little rest we went out to garden for 90 minutes.

Paul helped make my grid forSquare Foot Gardening yesterday.

I got the lower bed ready for planting and today Julia helped plant.

I’ve got the tomato stuff coming in the mail soon so we’ll get the tomatoes set up next.  Then I’ll see about working on the upper bed. If I make it in time for this season, fine. If not, I’ll wait the three months to catch cold season with that bed.

I was so beat by the time we got done I took a little snooze on the couch after putting Julia to bed. Now I have to bathe myself and get the dishes done.
